Every time you want to access the settings on your router. However, changing the settings in a router is to access the device page on the local network. This is usually done by entering the local IP address in a browser and pressing the Enter key. Unfortunately, there is no “default IP” that all routers use. Checking the IP Address with IPConfig

If you are currently connected to the router you want to learn IP, you can find the address from the command line. To access the command line, click the Start button and type cmdve then click on “Command Prompt”. Type the sentence displayed on the console: ipconfig

When you press Enter, a lot of information will be shown. Do not think of remembering all this! You are looking for the “Default Gateway” IP address that will be your router’s IP address.  This is : “default gateway” is defined as a device that takes your computer to a network. Checking the IP Address with Adapter Settings

If you know the model of your router, you can search online to find the IP address. Typically, all routers of the same model use the same local IP address. To look up your router’s IP address, write as much information about the router as you can in a search engine. If you find a model name, this will be very helpful. Then, at the end add “ip address” and press Enter. Check the results of people who ask the same question you have.
